End of April 2012
Just a few pics looking out of my kitchen window... The clump maple was removed last summer, which was where the lilac is now planted, next to the forsythia. The maple was towering over the house and was just waiting to fall. Better safe than sorry. Will be adding more herbs and perennials in this area but the biggest project is the vegetable garden in front of the shed. Corn is planted, lettuces, broccoli, carrots, spinach, strawberries...and I think hubbie actually planted tomato seed directly into the ground...he's adventurous like that. More pics to come as things start to grow.

P.S. Peeked at the tree removed below... Love the vegetable garden, shed, fence... How green everything is! Look forward to seeing what's blooming and growing in the garden. You both have been working hard. :)
Thanks D, if the tree hadnt been so close to the house...but it opened up the sky as you said. New ventures in the garden this year...
